Jason Fung has a bunch of youtube videos talking about fasting benefits and how-to. His book has great stuff as well. He is a kidney doctor who has implemented fasting in a clinical setting, so there's that data he draws from.

Every major religion has fasting periods implemented into their liturgical year for a reason. Such things only happen when ther is a biological benefit on a global scale.

Also check out autophagy after 2-3 days. A week long fast a couple times a year is very beneficial, so your body can break down the shit accumulating (reducing alzheimer brain fog risks and cancer, as those cells as well get eaten up).

Just taken enough electrolytes during a fast as well as water.
