it was still made with an espresso machine, I can guarantee that
the real trick though is to get the grind size right, for which you need a decent grinder
you also need to know how long to leave it running (extraction)
it was probably made by someone who knew what they were but it was still an espresso made with an espresso machine

you can get more specific info and obsess about overly expensive gear in the /coffee/ general right here on /ck/, but they will probably end up convincing you that you need to drop $1k+ on gear to have a decent espresso
