I just started a fast yesterday, and I haven't had any solid food in 24 hours. This is my second day and I decided to make some stock/broth so I can get a few extra nutrients in and sip on something other than coffee mixed with milk and pumpkin spice cream.

>frozen mix of pre-packaged gumbo mix (okra, red peppers, onion, and corn)
>veggie scraps sitting frozen in a bag in the freezer from 8 months ago (roughly) including spinach and broccoli
>fresh mushroom stems
>dried ramen veggie-mix packets (3 - shin ramyun)
>quarter of a bigass white onion
>one fresh, homegrown green onion (100 year old boss's 200 year old father's)

About a quarter cup of salt to about 1-1/2 gallon of water.
A proprietary mixture of Jalapeno-Lime hot sauce (from a Christmas hot sauce gift set received about 2~ years ago) and some dashes of Smoked Mesquite Liquid Smoke flavoring.

Now to let it boil. This could take a while and heat is on high.

I'll hook up my laptop (that has to be plugged in at all times otherwise it shuts off) and take a picture of the result and of what's left. But for the time being I haven't prepared everything out on the table up until now and I'm too lazy to bother with the added effort.

Next I'm going to pan-fry some sunflower kernels and chopped walnuts in a little bit of oil, and maybe some honey and soy sauce. I don't know yet. I want to add a few extra flavors with the nuts before I throw in the extra herbs and spices at the last 15 minutes.

It's been almost 30 minutes since the start and the water started boiling roughly 15 minutes in and now I'm trying to find the perfect simmering heat setting for this much liquid. By 11:00am Central Time this should be about ready to serve, but cool down will take me to about 11:15am.

Garlic Fingers (not pictured donair sauce)

>2tbsp butter, melted
>6 cloves of minced garlic
>about 4oz mozzarella
>2tbsp (or more) parmigiano reggiano
>16 minutes at 450F
In that order. I usually split the parm and put some both below and on top of the mozzarella. If my oven went to 500F I would do that instead for dat crust. Recipe for donair sauce:

Mix well, refrigerate for like 10 minutes and it's ready for dipping. There is also a recipe for evaporated milk that just mixes sugar in, I might try that so I can adjust the amount.

Oh, and I mentioned using 6 cloves of minced garlic that I sprinkled on top after brushing the butter on. Another thing that can be done instead is to use a tablespoon of garlic powder and mix with 3tbsp of butter. I haven't tried it yet mainly because I love fresh garlic, but good alternative if you really like the taste of garlic powder or don't have any fresh.
