Probaby ome canned meat stew that I bought in a supermarket during a motorcycle trip in Czechia. I am not usually picky in regards to food but I had to force myself to eat that. The meat quality would have been appropriate for dog food.

Has to be passionfruit. I don't know why, but it's by far the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted. It's weird because you'd think one of the fermented foods I've had would have topped that list, or the rancid meat I've accidentally consumed on occasion.

I'm really not picky at all, there are definitely foods that I prefer over others but besides that there arent many things that I would outright say are foul (In my opinion)

>I used to date a vietnamese girl and tried a nibble of balut (the developed chicken egg). I almost puked.

>I can eat raw shrimp but the texture is like stringy jelly. Its pretty nasty.

>Pickled/Fermented meats & eggs are pretty intense to the point of not enjoying them but I can eat them.

In the US it's vastly underrated. Very few amerilards even know how to make horseradish spread from the whole root and think kraft "artificially flavored horseradish style spread" is the same thing.

Tried andoulliette in Paris because we saw "andoullie" and thought it would be like the Italian sausage that we get in America. Turns out it's actual pig intestine and idk if they are supposed to cook it like this, but they charred the fuck out of it. Still tried eating it but it just did not taste very good and we had to tap out after only about half of it.

Had some weird-ass soup in Little Korea in Manhattan. It was served in a scalding hot couldron and was insanely spicy but the bad part of it was this weird seasoning it had. Can't hardly describe it other than it was a little like the taste you get in your mouth when you're sick. That's what it tasted like.

I've eaten at some really sketchy places in Central America. I spent a year down there. Probably have had horse and dog, which is bad enough but it was also kind of rotten and had been reheated and re-served a dozen times. I'd say about half the food I had there would count as someone else's worst ever experience.

you counfused "andoulette" with "andoullie". The former is the intestine one.

i dont like bitter melon. i had a cheese in france that really tasted and smelled like ammonia, way too strong. i dont like limburger cheese, too bitter. too much fish sauce in burmese food is a turnoff. there are some foods i really dont want to risk vomiting up: fermented eggs, fermented fish, and insects/grubs, brains, kidneys. im ok with chicken liver, but not beef liver, too strong.

Both of the worst things I've ever eaten were meals cooked by my friend's mother. One time she cooked lamb which tasted and smelled like peppered dog shit and had the texture of dirt. The other was shrimp with the texture of wet, stringy cardboard and the taste of nothing more than dirty seawater. It's the only time I've ever tried shrimp, though I'd certainly be willing to give it another go if the opportunity ever presented itself.
