What are some foods, teas, etc. that boost your vitamin D level? I've been diagnosed with vit D deficiency and given some supplement (Vigantol) and it works, but I don't want to stay on it long term. I know eggs and fish like tuna and salmon raise your vitamin D levels, what else? And yes I'm getting a lot of exposure to sunlight, but I guess its not enough

There are some milks that have vitamin d.
Tea and coffee can decrease vitamin d absorption, so wait a couple hours before or after taking vitamin d before drinking it.
Magnesium helps vitamin d absorption so try to get more of that through almonds and beans.

there's one food that really boosts your vitamin D levels but is really rare and sort of exotic

"going outside"

you need to lay in the sun for like 4 hours a day to get enough

>>10872990

The thing is when you do it in the day then it's natural and not from some pill.

It really doesn't take four hours per day.
Listen to your grandparents, they know more than we do and were in WW II.

Wow. How black are you? You really should stay around the equator. That's what you are genetically designed to do.
