I don't really push myself to the limit and I haven't tried any ridiculously hot hotsauces but I don't break a sweat or anything with the common hotsauces. I've never tried a "suicide" wing either

Somewhere around scotch bonnets or habaneros is when it stops being palatable for me, but even those are on rare occasions simply because spicy shits aren't worth it.

Idk. Hot sauces generally don't bother me much, but I tried Mad Dog 357 once and that gave me a pleasantly numb tongue and lip.

I ate a whole habanero twice, and the first time it definitely fucked me up but the second time was a bit better.

I've eaten a raw rawit, and I can say that's more than hot enough for me. When I make some food, I only need to throw one of those (two if it's a lot) in there to make it the perfect heat. It's better than throwing a shitload of cayenne and/or chili powder in there, which I used to do. I don't even taste jalapeno's anymore.

Gimme gimme varky cummies
Be they spicy or very nummies.
Spend my hard-earned good-hubby points,
on hipster Portland hot sauce joints.
Wifey's bull lifts me to the car,
To find me varkies near and far.
Enjoy my tasty varky treats,
in comfy Prius heated seats.
Drunk Jerk, Black Bean, Mayo, Hab,
But of my varkies none I have.

She always makes me prep our bull,
But prepping doesn't make me full.
Varkies are the only food,
That puts me in the fapping mood.
I'll dream and doubt but make no fuss,
I'll wish, I'll want, but I won't cuss!
Varkies are my heart's desire,
Fueled by burning, hungry fire.
Wifey cums and wails real hard,
But Tyrone's cum isn't 'vark nor Aard'.

My good-hubby points were fairly earned,
To buy the varkies that I've yearned.
But there's no varkies on my plate!
Did wifey think that I'd just ate?
"VARKIES, VARKIES I NEED THEM NOW,
IT IS VARKIES I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT!"
I cry while looking into her eyes,
While Tyrone hits me to no surprise.
For he who is un-varked is he who understands:
Never forget to shine his new Air Jordans

If I'm cooking or making a sauce, Scotch Bonnets are my absolute limit..

If we're talking raw, a hot serrano will fuck my day up.

If we're talking sauce, anything whole pepper sauce that isn't just concentrated chemical capsaicin.

Those all hurt but in a good way. Anything higher and it stops being a pleasurable kind of burn for me.

Generally though I dont eat hotter than jalapenos day to day since hotbutt and tummy grumbles suck. My mouth can handle it, but everything from the stomach down has a real rough time and I hate the feeling of burning in my intestines. Feels bad.

I grew up with parents who were competitive with each other about their heat tolerance and always thought they were fucking retarded for thinking it was a point of pride, but as a result I grew up around a lot of hot peppers and hot sauces so my tolerance is fairly high for the whiteboy I am.

I specifically hide my sauce and peppers in the back of the fridge like they're my personal Anne Franks, because I hate the idea people will think I'm one of those guys who think eating hot foods makes you a big swinging dick of a man. Retarded bravado made me cringe in my teens so now it's just force of habit to keep em out of sight

We use a local habanero that's a 10 on the scoville simplified scale.
But the trick to enjoy it is to make a very hot condiment (usually a base of piment + onion + your choise of green mango, cucumber, tomato, eggplant...), so you can use it to taste with every bite or just add it sparsely over the course of your meal.
I find it retarded to make the whole dish extremely hot, to the point where you don't really feel the other ingredients as well.

Most intense experience was last year when I was visiting folks in Indonesia. Ate an inconspicuous little round orange coloured pepper and did a little jig like it was no big deal whilst everyone else had their eyes fixed on me. It then hit me like a freight train. My entire face turned red from the neck up and I had tears rolling down my face which neve happened before. I had to put my yead down on the table for a while since we were at a restaurant and were still eating. It was pretty amusing.

The stupidest thing I ever did was eat a few habaneros undiluted. I had what can only be described as searing intestinal pain for hours later that night.

I had ultra death hot sauce and could tolerate a pretty good amount of it. I've been trying to get my hands on some Carolina reaper sauce (reaper squeezins) but just haven't been cooking enough to make it worthwhile.

What do you think: can you just plant a few peppers in the ground for the hell or it, or do you really need to get seeds from some retailer if you want to have any chance of getting a chili plant?

I'm not that same dude, but I have successfully grown Thai chilies from storebought peppers.

Just chuck 'em in the ground. The worst that happens is that they don't grow and you wasted 30 seconds of your time.

My gf has this thing where she likes to go out once a month and order the spiciest wings on the menu while slamming beers. So far, this homemade sauce at a local bar was the worst, it made my eyes water uncontrollably and I had stomach pain the entire night. I walked out of the bar feeling high as fuck.

But the Blazin sauce at Buffalo Wild Wings is no joke either. It's tremendously unpleasant and just a bad tasting sauce, but the heat is powerful. It really builds over time and seems to seep into every single nook and cranny in your mouth.

Nigga just go to a nursery in late May and buy whatever. Most nurseries that aren't Home Depot garden centres have caught on to the novelty and carry baby ghost/reaper/scorpion plants. It's ten times easier than growing from seed and pretty cheap usually.

Sounds like a dream desu, I've never had a partner who could keep up to my level of heat when I'm really after some spice. My current GF puts in a good effort though which I appreciate.

>>10998457
I vary rarely eat fresh peppers just for fun, although I'll always have a slice of something I'm cooking with to gauge the intensity. For sauces, I haven't had something I couldn't handle. I even tried a tiny amount of 40% capsaicin extract and while it was fucking hot I held off the water until after the peak. That said, extracts are absolute poison, I thought I was going to puke after the heat left and I had awful stomach pain that felt like I'd burnt a whole in my upper stomach for an hour or two, which hurt enough I was considering seeing a doctor. The stomach pain was much worse than the spice. My stomach was pretty sensitive after that for a few weeks so I think I might have done some damage that has only started to properly heal as the stomach lining regenerates (or something, I don't know).

I used to put ghost pepper into all my food a couple of years ago, the shits the next day put me off however.
