Just got diagnosed with high blood pressure, can only have about 1000mg of sodium a day. What foods are the best with this restriction?

lose weight fatty.

Home cooked meals.
Seriously, went from 185/90 to 110/65 from cutting out fast food. No restrictions when at home and even had chips and salsa once a week.

>1000mg
Why not say 1000000µg?
Or 0.001kg?
>What foods are the best with this restriction?
Ehm. non-processed foods where no salt is added already? Then use potassium salt instead, or just don't use any at all?
I don't even get the question. The only reason I can think of where this could possibly be a mystery is when you've never made your own food.

this guy is right. when you eat at home, you know exactly how much salt you get. you have no control at resturants.

But white coat syndrome means that your BP can spike in other stressful situations too. It shouldn't be ignored.

You can get potassium chloride but often they mix it with sodium chloride.

Maybe compensate with more heat (chilli or pepper), acid (vinegar or lemon) and allicin (garlic, onion)

Years back when I smoked a shitload of weed,
I got my blood pressure taken.
Was 72/48.
>Nurse looked panicked.
I asked, Is that bad?
>Do you feel okay?
Yeah, I feel fine.

Years later I saw on some crime drama, a person who had been shot and was bleeding to death, needing immediate medical intervention.
>Patients blood pressure was 72/48

Because any sane person measures micronutrients in milligrams, you pretentious fuckwit. Sorry you didn't get enough milkies as a baby for your brain to be strong enough to make metric conversions
