This is what I threw in after skinning/washing

Nah, just not enough in general. I had a pinch of everything, varying to a tbsp of each spice rubbed on the chicken before I mixed in the purée. Then added onion garlic etc and rubbed together. It just wasn’t enough spice for the amount of sauce.

You really did probably go overboard on the seasoning. Not some purist autismo, but if you just dump the whole spice rack it doesn't usually end up being particularly good.
Some haricots almondine, curried cauliflower and chickpeas. or pieroguis.
