I personally get different effects from different alcohol, but it could also partially be the scenarios in which I drink kinds of alcohol.

Like, for example, I’m never drinking tequila unless I’m on a crazy vacation or at a party where the intention is to get fucked up and get wild. So it mostly makes me crazy. I might sip a nice Japanese bourbon with sushi, but if I’m drinking American or Canadian whisky, I’m getting fubar’d at a barbecue.

Wine is like this mellow, casual thing that makes me sleepy instead of wild. Again, it might be the scenario, but I’m not going to drink three bottles of Pinot noir and go punch through the window of an In-N-Out.

I can’t really get “drunk” off of beer, so it’s more like “I’m gonna take my 8000th pee and then pretend I’m good to drive.”

Wine and beer contain other things than just ethanol. Whereas spirits are pure ethanol, so yes, wine and beer does produce different effects, even the hops used in beer can have relaxing effect on their own without any alcohol, fermenting on grape skins also produces different byproducts which add to the different type of drunk you feel. Beer and wine contain some carbs which counteract the blood sugar lowering effect of the ethanol thus making you feel somewhat better and more stable.

Even cheap tequila is different for me than vodka.. it makes my body temp more warm and makes me a bit laid back than vodka..

This all sounds like cheesy stereo-type but it isnt.. im being 100% literall and meticulous about my judgement..

Bailey's Irish cream, sor example, is a substance that absorbs slowly and metabolises slowly and when i got drunk off of that i was very calm like a bug in a rug.. it was slightly different.. I think most people dont realize these things because when they become alcoholic their hectic brain/mind takes over and distorts the "experiment" and the results so to speak.

Wine has a shitload of impurities in it like methanol and acetone that make the drunk more sloppy. Vodka and gin are a very clean drunk because it is pure ethanol and beer is mellow because of the hops.

There is a reason why you have to be extra careful with throwing away the foreshots when distilling fruit alcohols and why making sugar shine is the safest. It's because there is a lot more bad stuff in the former.

I feel different when drinking different alcohols, but that's not about being a different drunk, it's just that doing different things while drunk gives different effects. Yeh, I have fun with tequila shots, but the effect is no different than if I drank vodka in the bathroom then went and did water shots with salt and lime. Whiskey and whiskey-based drinks make me feel more masculine but that's just because of the connotation. Wine makes me sad drunk because I drink it way too fast on an empty stomach, and drinking heavily on an empty stomach makes me sad (I never drink beer or liquor on empty stomach, for some reason). Beer makes me feel like going home if I have too much, but that's mostly because I get really bloated with all the carbonation and feel kinda sick.
Are you noticing the pattern here? Attributes of the drink other than the psychoactive components are different, hence a slightly different experience. It's not the alcohol doing anything different.

No, I'm not being pedantic, because the way I respond to these different things is probably very different from how you and some other guy respond to them. I get bloated easily so beer kills the mood; some other guy doesn't and really enjoys the taste, which elevates the mood. I feel masculine while drinking whiskey and get excited; some woman has no excitement about feeling masculine, just thinks it tastes bad, and does not have a good time. I drink wine too fast, get drunk, and sad; some redditor thinks he's super cool for drinking a 1996 cabernet sauvignon and has the time of his life feeling like quite the scholar. Because it's not an actual psychoactive effective, just circumstantial, there's even more variance here than usual, and it's impossible to say in general anything true.
