Should this be illegal?

>> No.11141262

yea 3 buns on a burger should be illegal

>> No.11141267

You know what you get when you go to a fast food chain to eat. Specific amount of nutrients that taste pretty much the same every time around the world.
If you want less people to eat fast food tax it more.

>> No.11141276

No, you are choosing of your own free will to pay niggers stuck in a bottom-rung job to prepare you a meal. If you want something done right, do it yourself.

I totally get making a picture perfect burger for promotional reasons. However, I do think that "food styling" should be illegal. You should have to take pictures of the actual food that will be served and nothing more or less, and you shouldn't be able to do anything to the food that wouldn't be done in normal service situation. Also no photoshop. The amount of shit they do to make those pictures look like that is seriously bordering on false advertising.

An Old friend and i went to a restaurant a couple months ago and there was a steak in the menu advertised as 1/2 pounds so her ordered that, when it came to our table it was a literal joke, was small as fuck and he told the waiter to call the manager and explain him why it was advertised as one thing and he got another, after a while they brought him another steak and he only paid for one instead of two.

There are, in fact, quite stringent laws re: the appearance of food and products in commercials. The rule of thumb is that it must be theoretically, THEORETICALLY possible for the customer to actually receive what is portrayed.

This is done by taking multiple copies of the product (or more efficiently, just the in store ingredients used) and constructing the photographed sandwhich, piece meal, from the choicest hand selected parts for their appearance. The Sandwhich is assembled all from real big mac parts, just in a way that would never actually occur in the wild. The photograph angle isn't accidental either, it makes the sandwhich look bigger, while also hiding any uneven-ness in the seasame seeds on the bun. The sauce and l;ettuce peaking out the side were probably hand placed with small utensils to create the illusion of being full.

It's pretty much impossible to prove false advertising in court. It runs afoul of the first amendment usually and so on. Try as you might, you can't make it illegal.

Yikes, I don't think I've been this suckered by advertising since I made it out of grade school. I can't even fathom the immaturity of an adult expecting a commercial to be 100% truth.

It's the same fucking burger, one is just really neatly stacked and angled in an upward direction like the sandwich equivalent of a soldier standing at attention. What's your problem here? Is the bread not being in parallel alignment going to magically make the sandwich taste worse?

It already is illegal in a lot of countries. If your food doesn't look like it does in advertisements or on the picture in the menu you can demand a refund or a replacement.
That's why Japanese restaurants have fake plastic models of their food in the restaurant window, so you know exactly what you're getting.

HAHA.. no.. YOu would have to be an idiot to get these things confused in our modern capitalist worl (anywhere over the past 30-40 years)...

I'm fully against communist or fascism, i felt that needs to be said.

But you would have to be an idiot to not tell the difference between advertisments and reality..

I also want to say that i've never been disappointed by fast food.. It is what it is..

If i could give a score to the fast food workers here in USA, i would give them a really high score, like 99.9%.. Ive worked in fast food, i know how hard and shitty it is, and i dont want to bash those people.. they are me, basically..

The only times ive been semi disapointed by fast food was rare circumstances, like when i found a toothpick in my food or worse.. and it has happened a few times...

When i get the wrong order or something, i just scarf it down and forget about the mistake because i've been there and it isnt shit..
