I usually have some grains and beans, just for regular eating. I don't buy more grain or nuts than fits in my fridge because I've had weevils and don't want more, and their shelf life is half a year.

I don't live on an island and I keep my car's gas tank always at least half full. There's no zombie apocalypse or nu-civil war coming, so I'm fine. For a tin-foil hat fag you seem pretty laughable, though.

Couple guns, plus this and plenty of cases, primers, powder and boolits.

Plus the ability to make my own beer/wine/cider, and grow my own food,

Feels pretty comfy

Well, of course, I would just eat my normal stock of food and water before cracking into that, which can last quite a while. However, you do have to consider that most of the reasons that would require emergency food may require emergency relocation, and you can't carry years of food on your back.

>>11152559
>>11152555
Guns, and the ability to grow your own food, and a half tank of gas, do not sound terribly useful in the short term. You will not be able to grow a potato before you starve. But any assets can be made to be useful with ingenuity.

You needn't attack others for their preparation, your efforts would be better spent on preparing yourself.

Two jugs of water and 3 cans of cheeze whiz, wow OP you'll do great

unironically spend 20 dollars on 33 cent cans of beans a month ago so im good. failed 7captchas to post this shit.

>> No.11152714

I didn't plan for this shit, so really just enough food and water to get through a week or two. Plenty of dried grains, noodles, butters, oils, tinned meats, vegetables, spices, pickled foods.

I usually keep around 8-10 gallons of drinkable water around. And have a water filtration device in case of emergency. I also know how to bleach water which is safe to drink for a while, just don't do it with bleach that has thickeners or scents.

And of course there's always the ability to supplement your water supply in various ways from nature. Also, I'm in the fucking midwest. If I'm not worried about the legality there's edible shit everywhere. Hell I can't spend fifteen minutes inside or outside this town without seeing a squirrel, rabbit, or chipmunk. People are catching 15 lb catfish in the artificial pond in the park FFS. I think I'll be alright.

Well, this is my pantry and just in the normal course of events, I have several cans of beans. Plus my freezer is full if the power doesn't go out.

>> No.11153984

From memory: twenty cans of different types of beans, twelve cans of Spam, 50kg rice, a small jar of honey, a small jar of Vegemite, a jar of peanut butter, a bottle of peanut oil, 500g white sugar, 1kg salt, twelve cans of sardines, five cans of salmon, a packet of desiccated coconut, vitamin C tablets. Should last me the weekend.

There's also 30 litres of water, some lifestraws, and a container of powdered chlorine. I ought to have more water on hand, but it takes up more space than I have so I'm being optimistic about my ability to fill up containers before the town supply runs dry.

>> No.11154335

I have a large smallholding with plenty of year round crops a massive stash of food to last over a year and my own bee hives I live next to a natural spring so everything is cool for me in fact if the apocalypse actually happened I probably wouldn't even realise for several weeks as I don't have a television. I might just notice that 4chan has less faggoty posts. interesting how people here are mentioning that a gun is all I need. so you have a gun and you go and kill people to take what you want. this is a particularly gypsy attitude to life. a gypsy will never plant a seed and the only animals they raise is a horse to pull their card full of stolen goods and the horses probably stolen and definitely underfed when it dies they eat it and steal another horse. it's this kind of Attitude but his fucking the world up
