How close to the edge of an uncooked pizza should I place the cheese? It annoys me when the melting cheese runs off the edge and gets burnt, but it's equally annoying when there's 2 inches of dry crust. Is there a rule of thumb for cheese placement?

As close to the edge as humanly possible

Holy shit dude just put your pizza on some parchment paper if it bothers you that much. That way you don't have to scrape up hard cheese you can just throw the paper out.

Or try making the edges of your pizza base a bit thicker so the melted cheese will run towards the centre or the pizza rather than off the edges. Or build a little retaining wall out of pepperoni or something. Did you mean to make this post in this thread? >>11182785

Did this really warrant a thread in 4chan, op, can you really not just figure out what you like

Anon, just hurry the fuck up with the pizza. Your cat is waiting and it looks pissed at your incompetence

If you bake your pizza in a pan, your problem disappears. Cheese it to your heart's content.
