You should be able to reliably go through 60 eggs in two weeks between 3 people without splurging on a fucking 10 egg omelette for 2. Even if we're only talking fucking breakfast. 2 eggs a day for breakfast with some toast for each dude. That's 10 days of eggs. Why do you need to "get rid of them?"

Dietary cholesterol has virtually no real effect on your actual cholesterol levels. People were told that in the 50s so companies could sell more food that was lower. They did the same thing when the FDA developed the fucking food pyramid and told people to eat a shitload of milk and grains because it promoted sales in products sold by dairy/wheat farmers.

Your blood cholesterol is essentially hereditary.

Believing that high cholesterol food gives you heart disease is about as ignorant as believing eating rhino horns gives you a bigger dick.

we were laying off of them until recent because chris insisted he was going to eat all of them on his own, but they'll be going bad soon, and there's still quite a few eggs, so now JP and I have to come up with solution, or I guess just throw out a ton of eggs.

so this is just another sitcom tier chris bad plan.

also of note, this happened right after JP bought a 36 pack, so we actually had 96 eggs total. But 36 was a sane number, the extra 60 on top is where things got nuts.

When I lived with roomies a few years ago we fucking killed eggs my dude. We'd buy those 5 racks pretty much once a week. Egg sandwiches for snacks and just generally having eggs around for breakfast/meatloaf/burgers was solid. I think the only thing we came close to eating more of was probably potatoes or pork loin.

Every 5 years the USDA will do a review of dietary guidelines for food. They take into account multiple studies both new and old. The last review was in 2015 and it was deemed that cholesterol from food is not something that can be "overconsumed". There were no long-standing tests or studies that showed that eating eggs everyday had any real impact on your LDL levels at all. However various foods that are high in cholesterol are also high in nutrients that you can overconsume, like fats and vitamins. Eating in excess is bad in pretty much all cases, however studies show that cholesterol from food is not as much of a factor as things like saturated fat or trans fats.
