This is how you make pasta if your pot is too small, right?

>> No.11301584

>>11301544
Doesn't make a difference if you smash it up into bite size bits and eat it with a spoon if you want, it tastes the same.

I hope you're not trying to trigger autists who think breaking spaghetti is a crime.

I throw the whole spaghet in, wait for it to soften just slightly so I can bend the rest of it in with a spoon. Whole noodles grip pasta sauce in the pan better (I add sauce to the pot, not on top of noodles after). So when you dump out the noodles onto a plate, 100% of the sauce comes with it with great noodle coverage. Smaller noodles will leave more sauce behind.

i wouldn't have to snap it if they would make smaller spaghetti
but spaghetti is probably the worst form of pasta, angel hair being the most offensive

I don't really think you should crack pasta but in that case in your pic she's cooking outdoors in a tiny pot with limited heat. I get why she'd do it. Personally, I'd just wait a minute and bend it

>> No.11301935

Is that meant to be a soup or a stew?
Either way you would break the pasta into few cm long pieces because otherwise it's going to be very difficult to eat.

>> No.11304552

You mean spaghetti? Would be impossible to break penne, farfalle or conchiglie in half.

That kind of pasta can be cooked in a small pot. In fact I often cook that pasta in the microwave in a bowl.

You just need to add enough water to barely cover the pasta. Keep it covered so that the pasta absorbs the water. Stir it frequently to break up any pieces that stick.

She forgot to taste for seasoning (probably needs more salt), and the cheese is a crime against humanity. Might also want to fry the onions before adding garlic paste, so the garlic doesn't burn by the time the onions get translucent. Substituting the milk with cream or adding flour to the fat in the pan to make a roux first may have been a good idea too. Roux outdoors over a gas stove probably doesn't go well though.
Would still hug Rin though.
