Scissors only work on materials up to a certain thickness, while knives don't have this limitation. Scissors are harder to clean. They're almost certainly not made to be as sharp and durable as knives, and I would assume are harder to resharpen. It's much easier to cut straight lines with knives. You can control depth of cut with knives whereas scissors have to cut all the way through something.

That's me thinking about it for like 30 seconds so there's probably more reasons too. Fucking apply yourself OP.
