Bought tomatoes and cucumber on Tuesday. I've been keeping them on the window sill. Just made a ham and cheese sandwich with them in.

5 days since purchase - Tomatoes are firm and juicy. Cucumber is clear looking, firm and crunchy. Fridge is a myth.

i buy cherry tomatoes and other smaller types all the time and the plastic container they come in has specific instructions to never refrigerate them.
