I like a combo of: half white, half brown sugar, with butter, a little baking soda, with the chilled dough for atleast an hour or so.

Only soft cookies should be allowed. Hard cookies are fucking disgusting. Crumbs get everywhere, mouthfeel sucks, and they stick to your teeth.

I made many double batches of chocolate chip cookies. sometimes I would freeze the cookie after they bake, other times I individually freeze the dough and pop a dozen in the oven.
I use the normal tollhouse recipe except my sugar proportions are 1/3white 2/3 brown instead of 1:1
