>No stupid "scary violin sound effects"
>Main judges for each episode are actual god-tier professionals whose opinions matter instead of meme celebrity personalities
>Employs a "partner mechanic" to show that teamwork actually matters in culinary arts and is better than being a lone wolf asshole
>Beautiful cinematography

I really liked this. Look forward to Season 2.

Yeah I thought it was really good too. I'm excited for any other seasons.

Instructional/educational just isn't as "exciting" for normies watching TV. I liked Final Table just as much as I'd enjoy something educational about cooking; but most other people wouldn't.

I enjoyed it as well. There's plenty to learn from this kind of show if you don't need your hand held.

It is sort of instructional in some parts if you follow what the contestants and judges are saying.

Try it- you'll like it.

No spoilers, but MAN I hate that smug piece-of-shit that dragged my waifu down with them.

Soulless garbage show with terrible generic hosts and hideous settings. It's Reddit personified and I really mean that. Such a fucking ugly show.

I dont know if I have the energy to post it all again, but this French guy was awful and I'm glad he lost in his own country's challenge. When he called a stuffed cricket a 'sustainable burrito' you just knew he lost the plot. Corn is sustainable, not bugs. You only call it sustainable because starving people eat them. A cricket husk is not a tortilla. Fuck off

I was so scared he'd win since he was one of the show's "characters".
Another way it exceeded my expectations.
