British Indian food is cheaper than American indian food.

It's shit like this that makes me wish I lived in the UK. I only have one Indian option that delivers nearby and it's the most Americanized bland bullshit ever, all for a huge extra cost. No kebab to speak of either.

I had no idea those menus were so huge, looks like an American Chinese takeout place

does every single indian takeout use the same menu the same way american chinese do?

At least there's variety, though. I swear the place near me has like five things, just named differently.

They'll make a huge batch of a kinda spiced curry stock gravy which covers a lot of things, then when you order something, they'll use that but finish it off with a various pickle, or this n that or w/e.

Chicken or “meat”

What the fuck is “meat” that sounds dubious

>> No.11678127

>>11677533
They all have similar or slightly different base so it looks like a lot but its not and a lot of the options are repeated with different meats, like. Lamb curry, beef curry, chicken curry, So it looks like 3 different options but its the same with only a different meat, why they do this is beyond me, i dont know why they dont just put “blah blah curry with either chicken / beef or lamb” then just have it as 1 item.

But lamb's like, the most expensive thing they could use behind a tenderloin or king prawns or some shit.

>> No.11678409

>>11678383
Is lamb really that expensive in England? Here in the states you can get it for $5/lb, and while that's more than pork or chicken it's hardly what I would call "expensive".
