not a bad choice. I like it pretty simple: salt+pepper, pan fried/covered and steamed for a bit in butter, lemon, and some dill if you can get the fresh stuff.

Which part is the threat, the salmon or the broccoli?

it's biblical. but i prefer a whole-grain mustard made into a little paste with olive oil and chives or shallots
a bit in the oven, finished under the broiler. the whole grain mustard ends up being pretty mild and under the broiler it forms this incredible kind of bark
cant find a pic of the last one
also leave the skin on, eat the skin. the skin is incredible nutrition

Salmon is slimy and broccoli is gross. But I love lemon and peppery things. My stomach will kick off easily on this shit. What about sweetcorn? Mushrooms? Spinach? How do I not throw up

for the broccoli - cut into little florets, then blanche in very salty boiling water till almost tender, then pop into iced water and drain when cool
take your salmon out of the fridge an hour before and salt it a little
get a pan properly hot and add a little oil - colour the salmon (it will stick, then unstick) on both sides quickly, then add a knob of butter, some smashed garlic cloves, and a little chopped parsley. Remove from the heat and baste your fish in the foaming butter, then put on the plate to rest a moment while you re-heat your broccoli in the buttery jizm
pop a little fresh black pepper and/or lemon juice on yr fish and enjoy
enjoy kiddo

Is frozen salmon trash-tier for cooking at home?

I've not eaten much fish except for tinned tuna and I'm branching out. Is fish generally always for fresh eating or can you get away with frozen product?
