Chopped serano chilies, garlic, a bit of onion, thinly shaved carrots, cilantro or parsely, a bit of broccoli or cabbage too. And a dash of soy sauce. Sometimes I add peanuts as well.

/ck/ is literally the only place I've ever seen anyone eat instant ramen with a fork. It's almost as though this place is full of weebs who are also neets who never leave the basement so when they order their bulk pack of shitty ramen of Amazon at a 600% markup they forget to order a single pair of chopsticks and then have to use a fucking fork like a retard. Even worse are the /fit/ fags who pour out all the soup in their noodle soup first.

most of these amazon listings are for like 50 cents to 75 cents a packet.
That's only a 100-200% mark up on the cheap stuff and actually competitive on the good stuff. Myth busted.

assuming you buy the proper brand ofc, pic related, happy chink cook brand is always a safe bet.
I only add a few drops of extra spicy Valentina sauce, to make it spicy but without noticeably altering the taste, and some soy sauce.

It takes maybe one extra minute to cook up some real noodles in better soup stock, and it's probably cheaper to get bulk ingredients. You can even buy a big jar of MSG if you really want one.

desu I usually do the following:

sliver cabbage + onion + diced shrooms and set them in a skillet on med heat to mellow the onions out and soften the cabbage/shrooms. I use a small chunk of butter just enough to keep things from sticking and burning

cook the noodles with 1/4 spice pack + protein (usually for me tuna in a pouch) then drain when the noodles are about half-cooked, save the broth. then add the noodles, some of the broth and another bit of the spice pack to the cabbage/shrooms/onions (increase heat to high) and add soy sauce and spoonfuls of broth until the sauce starts to form. then once the noodles are cooked just plate and enjoy or if you're plastered just eat it from the skillet.

when it comes out right it's very good but I often make this drunk and accidentally set the ramen to boil before the vegetables are prepped. I know weebs will hang me because RaMeN iS a SoUp BrO but fuck you.

chopsticks are just not very good, they're what was ok probably a thousand years ago but modern utensils are obviously superior, unless you want the weeb factor of course. So even if someone unwittingly owns some because it came in their chinese takeaway doesn't mean they will ever use them.
