Do these Gardein meals just have vegetables in them or do they swap the meat out for some sort of analogue, like TVP or something? I'm looking for a vegan or vegetarian ready meal that actually has some fucking vegetables in it and have been for the last five or so years. It seems all of them just use meat-alikes rather than some nice veg. If you know of any, could you recommend them, please? As it stands, I currently make a few types of vegetarian and vegan pot pies and freeze them to pop into the oven on days when I come home from work too exhausted to cook. They are mushroom, onion and cabbage in mushroom gravy (vegan), brussels sprout and cauliflower mornay (vegetarian), bean chili (vegan) and vegetable bechamel (vegetarian). I also make cheese, cauliflower, potato and caramelised onion pierogi, which are a good go-to, too, but I mostly eat them as a side to some sort of meat dish.
Problem is, what if I forgot to make and freeze some ahead of time? wtf can I buy and keep on hand as a quick, veg-heavy emergency dinner?

It will be very very hard to do that on a wholefood diet and still get all vitamins, minerals and decent protein intake. With protein powders, extracted fats and oils and pills it's obviously not a problem.
