Truly sad to see what haute cuisine has become today, but cuisine classique will always endure. I think Americans would like it a lot if some of the meats and cheeses were more available here.
For those uninitiated it is a very farm-oriented type of cooking still popular in the more mountainous regions of France where you can hunt small game relatively easily.

France is the superior cuisine because of the sheer amount of technique and precision.
I'm not seen, in any cuisine around the world, such thought, such attention to details.
Yeah, Indian, Italian, Chinese, have very good food, with fancy spices and tasty dishes. But France has elevated cuisine to art, and it's the reason it's still (and it probably won't change soon) the best cuisine.
