This! It's one of the rare things you can pretty much only get at fairs. No one much makes corn dogs at home, nor most restaurants. Heaven. A soft pretzel that is NOT a superpretzel is also pretty delicious with some brown mustard, when bought somewhere making the dough fresh.

At a fair, I'll also add a fresh limeade soda, some spiral cut fresh potato chips, or possibly some beignets or elephant ear fried dough, powdered sugar only.

When I was a younger, it used to be nachos. Then I discovered I could get chips and cheese anytime. Then it moved to teriyaki chicken or beef on a stick. That shit was good, but it kept going up in price every year, and then the place never came back one year. Then it moved to turkey legs, which are ok.. but I don’t like the taste of the meat once you get down to the low part of the leg. I guess now I just try to get a bratwurst or sausage of some sort.

The county fair here has a bunch of farmers bringing in ground beef to make the best burgers you'll ever taste. The "so fresh it was walking around in a pasture" yesterday type of meat. Apart from that, fresh cut fries doused in malt vinegar, corndogs, cheesesteaks, sausage and peppers.
