This is honestly what you get where I'm from when you ask for a "steak" at the butcher. And in supermarkets as well.
The only way to make it edible is to add copious amounts sauce, which is either high in fat or carbs. Probably both.
I never could understand why people loved steak so much. I always hated steak. until I tried an actual steak that was a more fatty cut. No wonder people go vegan, I'd also prefer broccoli over this.

God I hate to low fat craze. Literally everything is low fat but high in sugar or high in rapeseed or sunflower oil. Both are a thousand times worse for heart disease than animal fats. But yeah the global industrial farming complex gets higher profits using these crops rather than using animal products.

But yeah you're probably paying a lot for brand too. Japs are absolute jews when it comes to food, "Here is your ¥12k honeydew melon sir", ect...

I've had American wagyu which are the cows that came from Japan many years ago bred with American cows since Japan decided against exporting them here. It's good but I don't believe they are grass fed in Japan not sure what the feed is though.
