You ever just eat a whole box of stuffing for dinner?

>> No.12532737

nah man, i believe you'd get your ass kicked for doing something like that

I like to cook a bunch of stuffing then fry it up in butter until it's rich and crisp.

that would be good on a tuna noodle casserole

Family favorite is baked chicken casserole topped with stuffing, so yeah I can see that for sure.

>> No.12532981

Also sometimes when I have leftover tomato sauce I'll add a bunch of dry stuffing mix and crack in a few eggs. Let it all come together and you have a quick source of calories.

>chicken casserole
no noodles? I like chicken more than I do tuna
I'll try it

Sometimes, I normally split it with the dog since it's one of the very few things he begs for, and he gets excited when he sees the red box. I don't know why he likes it so much but he gets excited over stuffing, so sometimes I cook it just to make him happy.

yes , but we call it toast or maybe French bread slices.

I amost have, the thing is that I always add things to that, like chicken and hot peppers so it's not just the box o stuffing on it's own.
This one is retard level me, I had that on a shopping list from last week and didn't get it when I went shopping last Saturday.

>> No.12533810

try the recipes on the back of the box some time!

>> No.12533851

I tried to because I was out of food except for an extra box I hadn't used for thanksgiving but it was way too salty.

oh... yes, story of my life, trying to make from scratch to avoid the MSG

Its legit as fuck when you use sausage, maybe some celery and onion.
This has potential beyond just holiday meals. Sadly, its not used often enough. Also why does this box o' shit cost like $2.50 when a rice, potato, or pasta side of similar weight is only one dollar.

No, but I could. Stuffing is pretty based. And not just the boxed stuffing, but all stuffing in general. I like making homemade stuffing with sourdough bread, so good. And I've made stuffing with rye bread before too, which went excellently with some quail I roasted.

It's usually around $1.50 but always less than $2.00 at Dollar General. Maybe you're going to some price gouging hoity toit place. I do see it for about $1 a lot of times also at DG depending on the time of the year.
