sliced bananas (or other firm-ish fruit), pref. refrigerated, on top of cooked oats ( I use water), then add small pieces of broken up dark chocolate on top and add cinnamon. if the fruit is cold the chocolate kind of melts and reforms in a pleasant way

Right now because it's summer here I do overnight oats. I just eyeball it but essentially it's just oats, whole milk, peanut butter, pinch of salt, and chocolate whey protein powder which I seal up and shake the shit out of it then toss it in the fridge. Makes a pretty good and filling cereal.

When it cools off I do the normal hot oats with honey and some berries either cooked in milk or water with a pinch of salt and some butter. Basic shit but good.

This is how I make oats
>fill large glass with 90% oats 10% flaxseeds
>same glass 100% milk
>med high heat when it starts to get hot then lower heat stirring often
>add salt cinnamon nutmeg
>salt should be enough that it's slightly noticable but not taste salty, dont add a bitch amount
>chop banana in small pieces set aside
>oats will be thick because too little milk you can add a little splash if it gets too dry that it wont flow back when you stir but not too much, will add later
>when oats al dente take off the heat and add banana a knob of butter honey to taste
>add more milk until it has the consistency you like
Done.

The easiest recipe with oats i know that is also one of the tastiest is musli. I usually just put oats, raisins and something crunchy like dried banana in a bowl and pour milk over it. When I get tired of that I just add other stuff like coconut flakes or yogurt.

Porridge is the best, I do 1 part oats to 1 part milk soaking in bowl whilst I boil another 1 part of milk in a pot, when that becomes frothy add the 1 to 1 oat and milk mix then cook till ready. Normally top it off with sliced bananas, maybe make a jam with some berries, some cocoa powder you can use peanut butter and if im feeling really lazy I use pic related (banana & toffe mix is amazing)

Dump the stevia shit.
Add a small pinch of salt and a bit of honey.
It's not rocket science.

I like 2 or 3 parts water to oats.

Add a couple tablespoons of peanut butter and some salt *maybe* sugar and I'm generally good.

that brings up a good point, you can pour liquid and oats in a bowl in a fridge overnight with maybe some dried fruit or w/e else and it'll absorb the liquid as if it were cooked. i think that's called 'overnight oats'
