I was posting my cooking in his threads and am not making new threads now that he's not around. I don't blame him for it, though. I was pretty burned out about the state of the board already and the constantly bitching and trolling in the one actual cooking thread didn't help exactly.
Plus I know if I make my own thread it'll drop off page 10 with maybe two replies that just say "looks good" or whatever.
People here simply don't seem to be interested in cooking threads anymore.
And with that 60 second cooldown you can easily waste 15-20 minutes taking the photos, editing them, writing something about what you're doing, and uploading. Not really worth it, sadly.

Yeah, I was thinking about that last night. While his cooking was usually just mediocre, a lot of people posted interesting dishes. It was a good place to post a pic of something you cooked and get feedback from other anons who are interested in cooking. And the argument it killed OC threads is retarded as it specifically said "if you don't want to start a new thread." A lot of days it was the only decent thread on this god forsaken board.

I posted my final products in there, not much of a need to make my own separate thread. Sometimes I saw stuff in there that other people posted and it inspired me to try it. The dickered guy has also said multiple times that he cleans a lot so I don't really care if a cat is around for a few pics. Nothing ever looked dirty.
