Which ways? I'm not intrinsically against non-stick pans, and I recognize that cast iron isn't some Godsend all purpose tool (I tend to use stainless a lot), but the only benefit I see is it's lighter. No oven, no super high heat, and probably not usefully more non-stick than my CI.

Anyone familiar with a brand called "Roch Guss"? My roommate moved out and left it behind. Appears to be case aluminum, (fake?) wood handle, and says made in italy. I literally can't find anything about the brand online, although it looks mass produced.
