No, I used to make these fucking things and they were completely unnecessary. They solved a problem nobody had. Nobody needed a new bun, the quarter pounder bun was fine. Nobody heeded a new secret sauce, the big mac sauce was better. The tomatoes were always sliced too thick because of their ghetto slicer machines.

Literally just a quarter pounder with a half squeeze of big mac sauce, the nice new onions, the new iceberg lettuce (sheets, not shredded), bacon, FUCKING MUSTARD, and ketchup on bottom as planned was 300x superior. This was a prime example of 90’s corporate hubris rather than recognizing that consumers really just wanted a slight quarter pounder upgrade while continuing to feed their kids the price-reduced one.
