As for Fort Worth...I don't know. We've got barbecue and tex mex and steak of course, but I'm sure others will say Austin, San Antonio and Dallas do those better, respectively. We do have a lot of Thai, Vietnamese and Laotian immigrants on the north side whose cuisine I enjoy, but obviously it's not better than anywhere else with those people. I guess we excel at being above average at all of the above.

I've made the circuit here, and Texas bbq is lacking in every way. I've done holes in the wall out near Abilene all the way to Lufkin, and all the fancy shit in Austin and Dallas and Houston.
