Claiming that your favorite food is steak is the culinary equivalent of owning a truck with paint the color of nail polish and a lift that goes five feet off the ground. Steak is an objective indication of poor taste. None of the taste is inherent in the food itself besides the minimal quality difference of texture and consistency in a shitty dollar store steak and an expensive name brand from a local ranch that massages the cows every day. It tastes like a sinewy, unripened fruit by itself. Burning it or smothering it with sauce is a further obfuscation of its true self. It requires utensils and almost a setting that is ostentatious and exorbitant. And it's not even morally advisable to eat more than a piece the size of your palm because of how much it's going to tear up your asshole the next day. And don't even get me started with how fucking bad those rocks smell. Like, we get it, "you think steak and some combination of alcohol" is so manly and fine tasting, but in reality you're just smothering everyone with little dick energy.
