Are meal preppers the doomsday preppers of cooking?

No. Meal preppers just makes the food they're going to eat for the next week in advance so they can take sandwiches to work or whatever. Doomsday preppers have a bunch of canned food stocked that won't expire for many years so that if nuclear war or natural disasters happen they can stay in their bunker and survive off of it.
