apple for sure, just a pure classic.
ive never really understood the appeal of like, berry pies or anything stronger, cooking stuff like that down is just overwhelming, and because they start off soft you just end up with a soup instead of any actual texture

never had american style pumpkin pie but it sounds pretty great, and flan/creme caramel is also banging if it counts. which it probably doesnt.

Yeah, you enjoy pie fights like they used to have in old movies like The Battle of the Century and the deleted scene from Doctor Strangelove. But those pies tended to be filled with shaving cream due to budget requirements, so it's not really the same.
