I wish we had a proper malty bitter/ESB around these parts, that isn't super niche, price inflated microbrewery stuff.
This is the closest thing we have, but that's only cause the market is oversaturated with lagers, and even then this isn't really malty at all.

The guy I was quoting to mentioned an Australian beer and Corona. In Australia Coronas are ridiculously expensive, and are considered a premium import. For 2 Euros they I could live with but not at the price point and mark up in Australia. It's the equivalent of buying a carton of Bud Light for AUD$60+ when a person should only be paying less than half that.

It's a very mediocre beer that tastes worse to cheaper alternatives.

They make solid IPAs as well. Brut, Citradelic, Trippel, Juicy Haze. They're hoppy and (sometimes) sweet beers, but not excessive. I ultimately prefer their Belgian White, but I don't see it in stores as much as the Amber ale.
