>Stevia.
>Is some 200x sweeter than sugar, with longer onsets and more lasting durations.
>Has been evidenced with *benefits* to glucose and insulin metrics.
>Results with *much* more satiation derived form both food-preparation and meals.

>"Stevia preloads significantly lowered postprandial glucose levels compared to sucrose preloads (p < .01), and postprandial insulin levels compared to both aspartame and sucrose preloads (p < .05).
>This study also had a number of strengths. First, both lean and obese individuals were included, increasing the generalizability of these findings. Second, food intake was directly measured, and satiety measurements were taken at identical time intervals as blood glucose and insulin levels. Third, a pilot study was initially conducted to determine the appropriate gram and calorie amounts to provide in the preloads. Moreover, all preloads were matched for gram weight, and the aspartame and stevia preloads were matched for caloric content.
>In conclusion, participants did not compensate by eating more at either their lunch or dinner meal and reported similar levels of satiety when they consumed lower calorie preloads containing stevia or aspartame than when they consumed higher calorie preloads containing sucrose. Additionally, stevia preloads reduced postprandial blood glucose and insulin levels, suggesting stevia may assist with glucose regulation. These effects appear to be independent of reductions in caloric intake, as participants consumed similar calorie amounts in both the stevia and aspartame conditions."

**A lot of the iterations I got** were gross (chemical-y / bitter). There are so many variations because companies are combining amounts of the plant's different compounds ([image]). .. Here's an example that's really sweet:

literally why do people eat this disgusting trash known as “artificial sweeteners” instead of just fucking water, or juice.

I’d rather drink fucking celery juice then that trash, and I mean purely because of taste. Not because of any notion that one is healthier than another.

>buy coconut water thinking it’s coconut water, how could they fuck this up?
>take one sip
>horrible disgusting abomination of flavor rapes my tongue
>check ingredients
>it’s loaded in fake sugar bullshit

Who the FUCK buys this trash, who wants MORE sugar in fucking coconut water than what’s already present? These people are sick

We are a fucking disgrace to our ancestors, there is no way this shit is healthy and isn’t just a cheap way for diabetics addicted to sweets to not immediately kill themselves with hedonism

Stevia comes from the leaves of Stevia rebaudiana; "minty" is such a unique phenomenon, and this is the "sweet"; there has been an iteration flavored of "vanilla"; it's largely *a definer* of satisfaction from beverage and food preparation and meals.
