This keeps happening:
>go food shopping
>I normally pick up some fruits and a pastry (almost always a pretzel)
>They are both on the same aisle of fresh produce so they are uncovered
>Mother (typically late 20s to 30s) comes in with her kid, usually always a boy
>Mother is on her phone while pushing a trolley
>Kid goes around the uncovered fresh produce and starts touching and playing with them
>Mother is completely oblivious to this and continues talking on the phone
>The kid then picks up a pastry, after fingering practically every piece on display
>Has it grasped in its sweaty unwashed hands waving it in front of the mother
>Mother just says "no sweetie, put it back"
>Kid puts it back
>They proceed with shopping as if this is somehow acceptable behaviour
>Decide not to buy a pastry and if I buy fruit I wash it vigorously several times
Why the fuck do women let their kids do this shit?

I hate when people are shit parents
I sat next to this british family on an airplane and their 10 year old son was so loud and obnoxious the whole time and the parents just completely ignored it. We were walking into the airport after the flight and i couldnt resist i gave the kid shit. The parents looked like i had just stabbed him and my wife got mad at me but fuck it, little asshole needs to learn somehow.
