I cannot remember the last time I had a snickers' bar that did not involve myself biting off the thin-layer-of-bottom-chocolate to expose the nougat. Salt as well. Hangovers are caused by both dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. The trick is to drink water and also get more electrolytes. When I drink a lot I have water during to stay hydrated and then when I come home I sip on some snake juice to restore my electrolytes. You can also get electrolyte tablets, powders, pills. Even sugar-free Gatorade can do the trick.

This was my life for quite a while, but I didn't work. Just drinking a handle a day and never leaving my house unless I had to.
My brother (roommate as well), left and I was just on my own for about six months and I just lost it without having to keep up appearances for anyone.
I squandered the last of my money on internet, rent, delivery food, car insurance, and vodka.
Never leaving your bed is pretty comfy.
Sometimes during the day, I would move to my living room couch because it was darker in there.

I just quit drinking alcohol 2 days ago after drinking over a liter of vodka a day for many years. Tapered over a period of just two days. Somehow I only have minor shakes and sweats and don't feel that bad. Yesterday sucked though

I really want to get one of those while they're available, but I'm having a hard time bringing myself to spend two figures at Taco Bell... for nachos. I was planning on picking up two dollar nachos tonight and grabbing some guac, sour cream, and jalapenos from work to doctor it up just to see what the party tray might be like, but decided against it for reasons. I feel like I have to try it, but it's just such a bad deal when I can literally go to either tacqueria on either side of my closest TB and get a carne asada fries for ~$8 which is too much so finish alone in one sitting.

Not as bad. Moved, and am broke, still drinking a bit but not nearly as much.
I've been using kratom and the occasional xanax (I have a prescription) when I start to get occasionally insanely anxious.
I had a non drinking related seizure last week, it wasn't fun- but all I really did was bite a piece of my cheek off.
All in all, a little better.
I am certainly taking better care of myself, and really don't miss the regular WDs and DTs.
Looking into getting a job, it'll be another shitty kitchen job, but I think some routine will help.
I'm also sweating a lot less, which is tight.

Most fucked up thing I remember doing with food when I was younger was chew up stone wheat thins, then pull it out of my mouth and use the chewed up stone wheat thin mush as a topping for other stone wheat thins.

One of my only IRL friends is a father of two and a full-time sous chef. He somehow still manages to find the drive to cook for his wife and kids on a daily basis. I greatly admire his dedication, but I just don't know how he does it.
