Inject it in multiple places, or put a semi-solid ring of jelly into the dough that melts when it cooks. I seriously doubt that the actual product has that neat of a jelly ring all the way through it.

I have donuts roughly once a year, and usually they're from Lamar's.
My fatassed sister makes me get them and there's one in the inner-city with all these fucking one-way streets you have to take to get to it, and there's a further one in the middle of nowhere.
Either one I pick I come back to my folks' house too pissed off to even enjoy my bavarian creme maple bar.
I wanted to replace it with a locally owned Japanese guy's place but then he served us stale donuts so he's on the ban list.
Thinking about it I might hate donuts.

Chances are the filling is thick enough when it's cold to be a solid piece to work with or semi frozen enough that it stays in place until the dough it cooked and it's trapped where it belongs
