I can't understand anyone who would eat a grapefruit with a spoon. What a scam. The serrated edge must feel nice inside your mouth as well.

The bulk of these things help those with arthritis, palsy, or other mobility issues. Usually when you see people posting "lol goofy tools who would need this", it's designed for people who can't properly grip things without pain or uncontrollable shaking. Gotta give them some semblance of control over their life.

Most notable interactions are statins, or blood thinner like warfarin. I think beta blockers are fine.

You would notice side effects immediately, as the grapefruit prevents a number of drugs from being broken down properly before entering the blood, causing sudden toxicity.

I use a grapefruit spoon. You don't notice the serrations.

The one exception is eating Captain Crunch, since it already tears up your mouth. When I was a kid, my mom for some reason had more grapefruit spoons than regular spoons so I ate a lot of cereal with serrated spoons.

It's fine, you'll be fine, everything is fine. He's being dramatic, but yes, you should check which foodstuffs your prescription medications interact with if you take any.

With pink grapefruit juice, I'd recommend codeine.
