you HAVE tried newmans haven't you /ck/?
you know all the profits go to charity RIGHT?

>> No.13721701

>>13721689
how do they expand and add new products if all profits go to charity?

>> No.13721704

>All profits go to charity!
>But uhhh, yea the salary of the CEOs is 100 million a year, and whatever "profits" are left are then used as a tax write-off
I can't believe normies fall for this shit. Non-profits are all scams.

>> No.13721717

>>13721701
>>13721701
"profits" are just the money left over after all the money they made is reinvested back into the company through salaries, research and development, advertising, etc. It's all bullshit.

>>13721689
Do they? Do they really tho?

>> No.13721735

>Oh, the Newman Foundation?
>And it's a tax write off? Gotcha.

I don't have a stake in this, but you can check their tax return and see for yourself how much the officers are paid.

Those are one of the best frozen pizzas, but only worth it on sale.

>> No.13721828

>>13721775
Is it? You were whining about overpaid CEO's and sketchy donations, but it's all there on their tax return which is required by law to be publicly available. From a once over nothing's screaming fraud to me.

>> No.13721907

>>13721689
I eat Paul Newman's food because its generally pretty decent quality for packaged foodstuffs, not because it goes to charity.
The Newman foundation at least keeps most of the money it divests to charity groups based in the US, so I can sleep at night and not have to worry that the few cents i spent on a frozen pizza is going towards feeding gross, smelly Africans.

>> No.13721949

>>13721717
That's literally the definition of profits, you dunce.

>> No.13721987

>>13721949
Sure, but it is misleading to the layman. A country could make a billion dollars in profit, but if they artificially inflate their internal costs, salaries, and research and development budgets, then whoops! No profits.

>> No.13721993

>>13721828
First off, all those donations are tax deductible. Second, look who owns those charities. The entire non-profit model is a scam.
