Ive been making lots of seafood soups and im finding way hotter in certain cylinders more than others. Tomato soup I find is like a super equal soup cylinder temperature ratio usually coldest is like in the middle. How do I find the cold spot on my shrimp soup?

what I did to stop having soup cylinders was get a really thick ceramic bowl, and leave it in the oven for a few mins then pour my soup into that.

it makes it so there no cold spots for like 10 mins.

You need to understand the science behind the Soup Cylinders. Let me help you.

Dude, are you high?
Its cooler at the edges because the bowl radiates the heat away.
Here's a pro tip; if the soup is hot, blow on it first to cool it down.

It looks about like 3 minutes is a decent time to wait according to that graph.

I think the issue im finding is my spoon is too big, creating smaller soup cylinders inside the spoon itself so some sips are cold some are hot. Maybe I need to get a shallower spoon thats smaller so I can sample one cylinder at a time?

I heard if your are north of the equator you eat the soup clockwise and if you are south go counter clockwise, its the way the temperature travels due to the magnetic field. Anyone verify that?

I know this is a repost, but if by any chance you are cooking in the microwave you can actually get this if you do not have a rotating plate.
The microwaves have a fixed wavelength, and so the polarizing effect of the microwaves will quite literally skip over certain spaces if you keep them in a fixed position.

It's not polarisation, it's literally there in the image, it's the nodes of a standing wave. Besides, it isn't much of a feature in modern microwaves, where they deliberately attempt to create evolving wave patterns that eliminate this phenomenon.

Replace ricola with one that's been here for much longer like bangs/barqs root beer or tobasco/tabasco

Also McChicken should be higher on the list or replaced with something better. Doesn't deserve such a low spot
