Wendy's is so hit and miss. McD is usually consistent when it comes to the made-to-order items like DQC. Unless it's a franchise owned by a stingy spic. Those ones always suck. Never go to those.

Yes. The thin patty offerings are as dry as everything at McDonald's has always been. It's only the quarter pounder that got the upgrade to fresh, never frozen, always grilled to order. Everything else is still trash.
