Ive had it in packages, not the cup but theyre very different. The one I posted tries to emulate a typical tonkatsu/garlic ramen while Shin is just a spicier version of a pork based noodle. Each have their benefits.

I dont know much about ramen, only had it for the first time in portland this year so forgive me. I've heard tonkatsu is exceptionally good though, but it takes a lot of work to make from scratch?

And for the noodles I just cooked generic Japanese rice noodles in the broth and then combined everything. Plus added other toppings as I saw fit.

90% of the process is just preperation and then waiting, as long as you clear 48 hours on your calendar, set timers and pay attention you should be fine.

>>14663843
No problem and I fucking forgot the whole reason I started posting was for this last part that you drizzle on the soup before eating. Hope this one doesnt go sideways too

I have made restaurant style ramen several times. Depending on the toppings, it does get involved but most can be made ahead of time or be kept simple.

For tonkotsu ramen the broth isn't too hard to make, just takes a lot of time. The longer you boil the pork bones the more creamier the broth. The basic recipe is just pork bones, I managed to find neck bones and pig trotters/feet. The other stuff used in >>14663760 is just to produce different flavors.
