If you think you eat better than Richard II or Henry VIII, you are wrong.
Admittedly, though, while their food was fucking delicious, it was extremely rich, fatty, and unhealthy, so you are likely in better health than most medieval kings or courtiers. Do you eat better than them, though? Not a fucking chance. You ever had porpoise, peacock, and beaver tail in the same meal?

not that poster but generally processed food has a lot of the nutritious parts stripped away while still being high in calories. this makes the food not as satisfying because we need more than pure calories, and it doesn't send the same signals to stop eating which means it's easy to become obese with processed food. being obese pretty much increases your risk for any disease or other health problem. of course it's better than people starving but since it seems like food security isn't as much of an issue anymore we need to focus on increasing the quality of what's available now.

Well, I don't know where the fuck you live, but most agricultural regions around the world, especially in continental North America, have speciality poultry and other bird farms. Pigeon (more often known by its culinary name "Squab") is widely available in many countries. About the only bird you listed that might be harder to find is partridge, which is more often hosted on game farms instead, but you could always buy a bird off of them instead of hunting it.

True for meat (especially if you're comparing yourself to the average person rather than nobility), but for fish and vegetables it depends on where you're getting them. People also preserved their meat in ways that are now considered a standard part of cooking repertoire, e.g. through confit and curing, so it's not like they were eating spoiled crap.
