He did test with the top local pizzeria, a store brought pizza, and that pizza. That kitchen's pizza came in last behind the frozen pizza.

If you look at the reviews, this guy is still in business and did change the pizza. The crust is nowhere near as thicc and there is way less cheese. This is what the sausage pizza looks like now. Looks good, but incredibly generic. I think I would've preferred the pizza in the show, but I can see how this generic pizza would be preferred by most people.
