I'm a simple man, I like a nice English/Irish breakfast but I mostly drink pic related because I'm broke and I drink a lot of tea. It's a shame too, before the plague I could get 500g of decent English breakfast for like 8$. It's almost hard to believe in hindsight

hibiscus/ginger/clove shenanigans can also be nice, it's kind of like a tart mulled wine but you don't get hammered. Chamomile in the evenings, of course

Masala chai is the most fall flavoured thing I can think of. It’s got cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger, and etc. It tastes like a home decorating store smells like in the fall and I love it.

Morning - ginger and ginseng

Daytime - Chai or mint

Evening - mulled apple (anything with apple and cinnamon really)

Night - Chamomile

The only tea I drink with actual tea leaves is a jasmine white tea, everything else is herbal tea.

Honey for all the teas, and the chai or mulled apple I tend to use whole milk. Usually just a bit in the spiced apple, but generally for the chai tea I use no water at all, only the milk heated in a saucepan. The grocer near me has a nice milk thats 3.8% milkfat and it's really creamy and delicious

Looking forward to drinking a lot of black tea and puerh this autumn and winter. I tend to place large orders this month before Christmas/Black Friday shopping sets in so that I'll have enough tea to last me several months. It's a bit like animals foraging before hibernation, I suppose. Anyone else do this?>>14765245

>> No.14770987

>>14770964
I should point out that from what I gather, the reason davidson's is able to offer much cheaper prices than the competition is that they seem a little more happy go lucky as far as sifting the product and quality control in general. There are some complaints of rodent droppings and insects being found in the bags. I've personally never had any problems, but if that puts you off or you don't want to bother with sifting the flowers then I suggest you pay a little more and go somewhere else, just a heads up

Your water is way too fucking hot. Drop that temp down to 160°F (70-71°C). I usually steep under two minutes, but that depends on the tea.
Green teas are known to get scorched very easily, so go low temps and a quick brew time. I like to go a minute, minute and a half for greens.
