A Nigerian guy I work with invited me to his home for dinner.
It turned out to be some sort of fish, some sort of red meat, and what I think was chicken in a overpowering hot chilli sauce with rice.
Everywhere it's the same with blacks. Shit quality meat smothered in hot chilli sauce

>> No.14781687

I liked chicken yassa.

The non-alcoholic drink "Chapman" is good as long as you have a couple of cucumber slices in it. Jollof rice is good as well.

Moin moin was interesting.

I fucked up akamu by trying to do it in 24 hours. Would be curious to hear from anyone who's made it properly.

Kinda pathetic for them to come to a cooking board to discourage people from trying new things.

Why are you even here if you just want to ignorantly post about how SSA doesn't have persistent food recipes?
It's like the people who were in /his/ yesterday posting about how Australian people didn't have culture prior to European settlement. Why were they on a board about history and culture if they're not interested in either? Why are you on a cooking board in a thread about African food to just claim that they don't have any good food? (Which is false, btw. I've made it.)
