Your tastebuds would be fucked up from five years of nothing but processed food that's loaded with sugar and MSG and things like that. Eventually that goes away if you stop eating it, though it takes a few weeks or so. You could try eating just a few chips or something fried and salty to get your appetite going but don't overdo it.

Get a 20$ blender, buy frozen bags of fruit or fresh(freeze or not). Blend with water and add honey for sweeter flavor. Delicious. Nutritious, and Easy to make and mix up for variety. Only takes 2min to prepare goodluck

Start with "less unhealthy than 3 mcchickens a day". Work your way up to healthy.

Rice and pasta don't have much flavor. You could bake a potato. You could cook a chicken breast. Home cooking these things is probably going to be less salt and fat than a processed chicken goo patty.
And add in a carrot every so often.

Damn anon. It's funny how you got up yourself unlike the other faggots in this board who get depressed when they stub their toe.

For now I can recommend you to a cheap diet chart from internet, you will have to invest much in your health

Not them but...

Get on of those Ninja blenders I bought one myself a bit ago. Just get one or any that comes with those cups you can attach a blade to. Really convenient so you don't have to wash an entire pitcher every time.

If you want recipes, try Chef John's youtube channel. Actually a chef and he's loved by many on here.

>Is this a real thing?
Yes. Your tastebuds become dull when you constantly overload them with certain things. People who give up soda for a while and then try to have it again say they don't understand how they were able to drink so much of it before because it's sickeningly sweet to them now. Your body builds up a tolerance to the taste of sugar and things like that almost like a drug.

I dont like food in general, everything tastes bad, I cant really describe the feeling all that well. Eating is something that I dont look forward to. If there were some sort of pill that I could eat every day to get my daily nutrients I would go for it.
I know that this isn't normal and I need to fix myself.

Well I don't think you're beyond repair, seems like you're attitude is fine, could be your taste buds. I'd do what the anons said here and stick it out for like 2 weeks on something different. Try to normalize your pallet on blander foods with little salt/sugar.

But have you tried different food types? Like Italian, Asian, Indian, American, Mexican, Thai? Like you've sampled a good amount of different foods and it's still fucked? Shit man, I hope you get better soon.

How do you relate to someone who reacts to an image like this with revulsion

>> No.14879626

I've done the eating disorder bit before - my gut was inflamed to the point where most meals would cause me to throw up. Even after getting treatment for that, it had been going on so long that I was trained to react that way to food. I had to minimize sensory perception if I had any chance of eating anything, even if I conceptually really wanted that food.

At one point I passed out in the produce aisle while grocery shopping, just from being surrounded by all the smells. That was fun to explain.

I don't really have advice. Room temperature stuff doesn't smell much, have some sandwiches. You'll get over it quickly as soon as you can start training yourself back.

This is a textbook example of eating disorder. Only eating children's food, having an interest in cooking but being disgusted with any food that isn't potato chips/McNuggets/whatever are all typical anorexic behaviour.

Eat 80-100% dark chocolate every day, it raises appetite and is also contains lots of calories. Maybe try different spices and some sauces on the food you are cooking, fat is good for taste use big loads of real butter to fry your food. Make sauce out of whole cream.

try to expand on what you already eat, add more things to your mcchicken like a different sauce, some more veg, maybe try a different meat
also try to drink some of your calories to gain weight, try milk first, if you absolutely hate it get some flavoured yoghurt drink thing or even chocolate milk but try getting back to milk later.
try fried eggs, combine it with meat, sauces, whatever. try simple common fruits like apple aswell. you might also want to try some exercise if you don't do any, even if its just a 30 minutes walk, it might keep you hungry and you're activating your body and brain in a positive way. don't do everything all at once but atleast try doing these things one by one over time. if you keep at it you can unlock many dishes in a year.
