Is he right? Is working as a chef at a fine McDonald’s truly that bad?

Of course it's difficult, but it doesn't ask anything of you than a little endurance and discipline. Most people can do the role, that's why it doesn't pay much. If you wanted some meaningful cashdollars, shoulda cultivated some marketable skills.
If these guys ever tried to strike, there'd be plenty to replace them.

He's exaggerating but it is true that most minimum wage service jobs are far more stress than they're worth or than people who never had to work one think they are

I think most min. wage jobs are stupid easy with very little accountability, and deserve to be the lowest rung on the totem pole. The issue is the lowest rung needs to be raised so that people can live a half way decent life and not end up on the street while working full time.

I hope he strikes too so that when nothing happens he realizes how worthless fast food workers are

I dunno about there, but I worked at a BK for a few months right out of high school. Rushes can get a little hectic, but for the most part it's a braindead job if you have your shit together. Create a system that works (if it hasn't already been created for you) and you're totally fine. The only people that struggle in that line of work are stuck FOH dealing with customers (and let's be real, any customer service job is a hassle), or people that chimp out in the back because they get flustered at having to do more than one thing at a time.

It's why a certain type of person gets stuck doing work like that their entire life. They want to coast, to not think about anything, and be told what to do, but the second that any of that isn't true they just break down.

Burger flipper is only challenging if you're a complete drooling retard.
Forget that, literal down syndrome retards work in fast food and still have a better handle than this guy.
Wages should rise across the board, but low skill, high turnover, entry level workers whose job is meant for and can be done by literal retards, old fucks and high as a kite teenagers aren't entitled to much more than that just because they work hard and shiet.
Thousands of people before them found a way to make min. wage work by getting roommates, cutting back on shit, not having fucking kids, whatever.

no but the long hours running around for only $7.25 sucks regardless what you do

the job is piss poor easy though

the only problem they have is getting lazy niggas to work.

Latinos are the hardest working though and pakis and indians are sorta good if you can train them through basic English first

Minimum wage frycooks should spend a day in management. Doesn't matter if they play CEO of McDonald's Corp or manage one restaurant. These high school dropouts would beg to go back to slinging burgers.
